When you live at Brentwood, all that Bensenville and the entire Chicagoland area is literally at your doorstep. With such an ideal location, our residents are able to fulfill just about any hope or desire they may have. From the beautiful landscaping throughout our facilities, to the gorgeous park across the street, to the joys that Downtown Chicago bring to people every single day, Brentwood is a great place to start each day. Here are a few ways that residents of Brentwood can enjoy their weekends.

Relaxing day around Brentwood and Bensenville:
  • Wake up to the sun shining through your beautiful sliding glass door and stare out at all the sights of nature that everyone loves to enjoy.
  • Stroll into your fully-equipped kitchen and prepare a delicious breakfast on your new stove-top.
  • Take your dog for a long walk around the Brentwood grounds and the beautiful park across the street.
  • If you're feeling up for a drive, you can hop into your car (plenty of off-street parking is available for all of our residents) and quickly get onto the Tri-State Tollway ( I-294), the Eisenhower Expressway ( I -290), Grand Avenue or Lake Street, placing you within minutes of incredible shopping, dining, and entertainment.
  • If fitness is a top priority, head out to one of the many Bensenville Park District facilities or enjoy an incredible round of golf at the White Pines Golf Club.
  • Return to your lovely apartment for a relaxing evening in your spacious living room or out on your gorgeous balcony. A relaxing day around Bensenville truly can be the perfect way to spend your day off. Whether you enjoy the outdoors or prefer the peace and quiet of your own apartment, Brentwood truly is the perfect launchpad for your day.
Day in the Windy City:
  • Everyone knows that Chicago has plenty to offer, making it the perfect place for people of all types. We also know the difficulties people often have from traveling from the suburbs down into the city. Whether it be traffic, expensive parking, or other unexpected delays, no one likes to spend their weekend dealing with transportation issues. Luckily, Brentwood is ideally situated near both public transportation and all the major expressways. Whether you want to drive into the city or enjoy an easy train ride in on the CTA, Brentwood is a great place to start.
  • Option 1: Ride the CTA:
    • Wake up whenever you like, as time won't be an issue when you're taking the CTA. With trains leaving every 6 minutes, you'll never have to wait for long.
    • When you are ready to start the day, drive over to the Rosemont Park & Ride at 5801 N. River Rd. With parking costing just $5, you'll save a bundle by avoiding those downtown garages, and you'll know your car is safe and sound, while also being easily accessible.
    • Hop onto the Blue Line train towards Forest Park, with one-way rides costing as little as $2.25 per person. Pro-Tip: Order a Single-Day Pass for unlimited rides throughout the day if you plan to hop on and off the train while downtown. This is a great way to see all parts of Chicago in a single day. At only $10, it is affordable and convenient.
    • Get off the train at Clark and Lake or Washington, and you'll be in the middle of Chicago's famous "Loop." From there, you're minutes away from Millennium Park, the Theater District, the Magnificent Mile, and the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower -- still the tallest building in North America).
    • Ride the train back to Rosemont whenever you're ready to return home, and you'll be back at Brentwood within the hour.
  • Option 2: Drive downtown:
    • Since Brentwood is mere minutes away from the Esenhower Expressway (I-290), it's incredibly easy to drive downtown. On the weekends, when traffic isn't an issue, you can be in the heart of Chicago in under 30 minutes.
    • From there, you can enjoy the greatest sports teams in the country (Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears, Sox and Cubs), award-winning Broadway performances, Deep-Dish Pizza, and everything else you can possibly imagine.
  • After you've hit your peak in Chicago, your beautiful apartment at Brentwood will be there. The updated kitchen allows you to make a quick dinner while the balcony or porch allows you to relax in the fresh air. You really can have it all in Brentwood.
